I love knowing that there are fairy tales that come true. But lets face it who wants their life on the news all the time. I really felt for Princess Diana she was a beautiful woman but look how the news wouldn't let her alone. She was killed by news hounds chasing her down all the time. Now they are doing this new Princess the same way. Who cares what she is going to wear and where they are going to stay on their honey moon? Why can't the press leave them alone and let them start their lives in peace? I am not one that gets all googled eyed about some celebrity and on their lives. We are all the same we all put our pants on one leg at a time. So what is so important that we need to know about this wedding? Who cares what she wears? We can't afford to buy such a beautiful dress so why do we need to know who made it? I want to hear something that is important like what is going on here or there in the world. What do you want to learn when you turn on the news? Do you just want to hear the gossip? Or do you want to know what is important around the world?

hi, i think they followed them because they are all known person in society,a famous and more than a celebrity,i think they just wanted to spread the news over in the world to update what is going on in the other side of the world.but sometimes it should have a limit especially in private parts of there life.

Hi Asliah. I just got sick of hearing about the royal wedding because I think that should be between the couple and God. And I get sick of hearing about things that other people do in their lives. I am glad for them and hope they have a better chance at marriage and love and this life then poor Princess Diana had. Thanks for the input.

Yes, I am. Well, I think following the royal wedding is just like a personal preference. You can just switch channels if you don't like watching it. But there are so many people who cares. I want to watch the wedding because I'm very interested in Europe. I'm very much interested how they do the weddings, the palaces, the castles, the dress and hats, and this is a part of history. Princess Diana's son is getting married so this must be really special. People have different reasons why they follow the royal wedding.

Hi Ebuscat. It is okay to hear it once in awhile but not when really important stuff is going on around me that I need to know about. I wish I had known earlier about some tornadoes hitting where friends and family live.

I'm not interested on their wedding but since it will be on the news, some network even said that they will bring it live from where it's happening maybe I could see part of it just to get updated.

Hi Stanley. I hope you see what you want to of that wedding. Me I heard on the news that there had been over 145 tornadoes in states that are all around me. Now that is news I needed to hear. I think it is great that two people love each other enough to get married. But I don't need to hear any more about it. Enough is enough. If the news hounds would have left Prince Charles and Princess Diana alone she might still be alive and they might still be together.

Hi Jennbart. Me neither. I just think that enough is enough let these people live their lives in peace. Let them decide what they want public.

Hi Cherish and welcome to my lot. It is good that it wasn't a fixed marriage. But I want to hear what is going on around me and the states where I live. I heard after they had mentioned the wedding several times that we had a lot of tornadoes around us and that there was a lot of people still missing. That I consider news worthy.

Hi there. Free_man. I am not really following the day to day progress of the royal wedding but of course news programs all over the world is seemingly attracted to it, thus, giving an updates from time to time. For me, I'd rather hear other stories, instead. I already heard what should be heard. I already had enough knowledge of the royal wedding so I think I should move on to other genre and issues. But, hey, it is a royal wedding. Something that does not happen very often. This is the reason perhaps why everybody seems going gaga over this. This is the latest fad and this is the hottest content. We can not blame ourselves for getting too curious, ei.

Personally I don't care about this wedding and I'm not going to watch it,but I guess most people are curious about the lives of the rich and famous and I'm sure the audiences will be huge for this wedding, and if that's what so many people want,to see a wedding turned into a mega tv show, then they will get exactly what they want.Anyway, for me it's just a wedding like any other.

Hi Polaris. I agree with you. Who cares about a wedding that don't concern me. I don't need to watch this wedding it has nothing to do with what is happening that will make a difference in my life. I want to learn something when I am watching the news that is important. Thanks for sharing my friend.

The world is facing financial crisis with massive flooding as the apocalypse, famine and lack of access to care, even with global warming, and instead focus on solving these problems is necessary so that two young married That does not even contribute anything to the smooth running of the world, but also eat live without work, on the backs of those who work and pay royalty fees ... Be married, be healthy, but why so much fuss? The agreement, an announcement, two three, ten, would be sufficient, instead of doing so hysterical that marry two men. What contributes to the smooth running of the royal families of mankind? And what did these young people to deserve the luxury and expenses while they make more than a quarter of the population dying days because I have money to treat diseases or to secure their daily food? No anti-royalist. But it irritates me that the whole world is so necessary in this marriage. In the world and life are more important issues than these two young marriage.

This may be a great event for the British subjects. I guess most of them still find the monarchy a part of their identity. Given that not much good news came out of the UK and of the Royal family in the recent time, they just took the chance and make it big with the help of gossip and the press. It could be fun for punters too. They can bet on a whole lot of things about the event including but not limited to number of kisses between the royal couple on the wedding day. Personally, it is none of my business.

Hi Chinchoy and welcome to my lot. It may be important to a point but let's face it they need time to get to be together privately and the press needs to keep their nose's out of it. Like you it is none of my business and I really turn on the news to hear what is going on around the world not someone's wedding plans.

Yeah poor them, their life is a public own but i am not following their details and it's a waste of time following something or someone you cannot benefit on, although it is still important to know what happen in other countries but not to the extend to follow every detail of it that is none of our business.

Well, this is exactly what is going on in some place of the world. They're not common people, they're people who manage a nation in some way, like politicians, of course they will be famous. When that terrible situation happened to Diana, she was already out of all this, so is more understandable. But this what is happening now, is not a private situation, they themselves are doing preparations to involve the people in all this, if they don't wanted this, probably they wouldn't do that tour around emblematic monument in London to let people see them. Or probably the royal family would not invited all the people from Kate's town, just because "they want to people make feel they're part of this". This is not a private event, actually. I've seen that many times William was mad with the press because they use to stalk Kate when she was doing private things, like shopping with her mom, and I think this is really something everybody should repudiate, when they're in their private moments. But the wedding is not private matter.

Hi Millefeuille and welcome to my lot. I know the wedding isn't private. But how much do we need to know really? I mean they might someday rule their country but I don't give a hoot to hear what she is wearing. It is a dress I will never be able to afford in a life time. Sure she is beautiful and is probably a real nice person. But let's face it no matter when they get married none of us will be invited to the wedding so we don't have to worry about what to wear or give the couple. So I want to hear what really matters to the US. I would get sick of having someone watching my every move in life. It wouldn't make me mad it would make me furious to know when I walked out the door some news hound would be on me the moment I stepped into the public eye. I wish them all the luck in the world and hope they have a long happy marriage. But I am sick of hearing about it. Thanks for your input my friend.

Hi there, No I have not been following the royal wedding. If I turn on the TV there are snippets about thier lives to the point that I think I already heard enough. They repeat over and over the same snippets of the two that I can hear in the background while online and feel I can repeat word for work. lol I am actually not interested because I feel that their wedding should be a private event for close family and friends. I understand the popularity and how it is quite an event but I find that should have been private. Especially with the whole Diana chases and followings, they should have sort of sheltered this new bride and not exposed her this way. To each their own and I wish them a wonderful life together.
