i am already resigned from my current work... and the reasons include most due to my boss.. and well there are people i know who are coming in to take on positions under our department and they will be reporting to the same boss. these people heard that i have already resigned and they are worried whether they should leave their jobs for the one where i am currently at... because they think there must be more than what i am saying about the reason why i am leaving...
1. i am stressed - so stressed about the work, no clear directions, and my manager kept on changing his mind. all the time - that means quite a lot of rework too.
2. he does not want us to leave our desk for lunch.. so that means no lunch?! just all work...
3. he does not want us to leave on time because he feels that it reflects inefficiency(duh??!!) because he stays at work for long hours
4. he is not the best manager.. such a slave driver.... with no appreciation for one's work.
with all of these... and i know these people coming in would notice this the first week (like i did) so do you think they have a right to know about how this person is??? i mean their soon to be boss?
i will seem to bad mouth the boss if i tell the reasons right? or would i seem to like lying to my friends about what's going on and i might get the blow... and tell me why i did not warn them before???
how would you react to this if this happens to you?
