Do you reply to people when people reply your respond?

When you create a topic, people will give response to your topic. And it's always good to reply their response as a token of appreciation. Some people will not happy if the "topic creator" didn't reply their response. Sometimes i will not happy too. But what about this situation. You give response to people topic and he/she reply you. Will you reply to him/her? Or you just go through it and then respond to another topic? And do you feel unhappy when people do nothing when reply as a token of appreciation?

i replied all the responses to the discussions i made, i just feel that it is not favorable both to me and to the one who joined to my discussion if i dont reply, but of course i do not judge those who do not want to reply.
