So, Cody Rhodes is now the top heel on Smackdown post draft.

One may argue Wade Barrett, but I think that Barrett's stock has dropped a lot over the past several months, while Cody Rhodes is on the way up. Smackdown really got obliterated in the draft as far as top level heels go. Their current top heel, Alberto Del Rio is now over to RAW. Thought that would really move over Miz to balance the scales, but I guess not. Another potential heel and the guy who might be one of the three most improved wrestlers er I mean entertainers(sorry Vince), in the past year, would be Drew McIntyre(the other two being Miz and Chris Masters), but he's over to RAW. So I guess Cody Rhodes is going to be the number one villain on Smackdown. Actually a Christian/Cody Rhodes feud would have some really great matches(and its pretty much a lock that Christian is getting the title, because there's not going to be two world titles on one show and yeah, Cena's getting the belt back, to set up Del Rio and Cena over on RAW for Summerslam, if you believe everything you read on the Internet.). So congratulations to Cody Rhodes, the number one heel on Smackdown, pretty much by default.

Cody Rhodes ties with Randy Orton as my favorite on Smackdown (he was my fav. on SD until Orton was drafted; and Randy is my fav. period -with HBK retired anyways). I wouldn't mind seeing a Cody/Christian feud! I would also like to see Cody/Randy and Cody/Ted somewhere down the line. And I'm glad Cody was not drafted. I think he is doing so well on Smackdown, I didn't want to see him drafted back to Raw right now.

Yeah this draft would be a pretty good chance for Cody Rhodes to move up a level. He's been improving more and more over the past couple of years and now is the time to try something new. Its likely he's going to really cross paths with Orton eventually on Smackdown right now. There are so many possibilities to really change up a lot of things on Smackdown, mostly because of the lack of really established people to work with. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Yeah, I definitely see Cody Rhodes moving up a level at some point this year. I would like to see him as the IC Champ, or atleast in the IC Title hunt. I would love to see him face Orton while Orton is still a face. The last time those two feuded one on one (not counting the Legacy break-up), Cody was the face and Orton was the heel. Now the roles are reversed and I'm really interested to see how it would go. Can you imagine if Cody put one of those brown paper bags on Randy's head lol? I'm a huge Orton fan (as well as Rhodes), but the heel heat Rhodes could get from that...I'd personally like to see it lol. You're welcome and take care! :)
