I got a scenario for you guys- Your Profession- Police Officer Scenario- You respond to an alarm call at a department store. you arrive at the same time as another police officer in the patrol zone. You both go through the premises and establish that there was no break and enter, but simply an insecure door. It is decided between your partner and you that you will await the arrival of the key holder of the premises. As your partner leaves he takes a small set of tools and heads towards the door. you ask him what he's doing and he quickly replies with a grin. "price you gotta pay for leaving your door insecure." You look surprised and he adds "Get over it." and leaves. What would you do?

Tell him to put it back. If he doesn't, arrest him on the spot. But then I'm an idealist and believe that our lawmen (and women), armed forces, judges and people in positions of power should be held to the highest moral principles. Shame the real world is just a steaming pile of dog poop compared to the ideal...
