How come things do not always happen the way we want it?

I am sure it has happened to everyone. You plan things to the last detail, and yet, by some freak act of nature or act of God, things would not go exactly as planned. Sometimes, it results to total chaos, that if only you could make the ground open and gobble you up, you would gladly do so. It makes me think that there is some sort of supreme being whose only job is to make things not go the way it should be. Of course, I know that we cannot always be perfect but shouldn't we have some kind of control over our life?

It all comes from our unconscious fear of plans failed. And that's it. you plan. you want something to happen, but at the back of your mind you are always afraid that everything would fail. And it really does so!!! So try to calm down, be sure (really sure) that everything will be OK :)

I don't think that we could have the appreciation for what we have in ouer lives if everything turned out exatly how we wanted when we wanted it to happen. we can not control every sspect of our lives. we will have joy but also disappointment. it is just human nauture and the course of life.

hello, That is absolutely true! It happened to me many times and I was really dismayed on it. So, I just dont plan everything I imagine because I feel really bad when I dont do what I should do. Yeah, maybe god did that for us to learned that not everything that seems so perfect are to easy to achieve. right? good luck

Things do not happen the way we want it simply because we do not have the power to control the earth. Although,we can sometimes influence event on earth but we are not made to directly control the earth no matter all the technological successes. God actually is the owner of the heaven and the earth. He created this world and He placed us here to live in it. Therefore, we are subject to his control. The day human start controlling the event on earth, that day will also mark the day we as human will not want to respect God. To answer your question directly, I would say that things can not always happen the way we want it because the things the control so happenings are beyond our control. It is only God that has the power to control such things
