I have just bought some pirated CD's from street vendors in Quiapo,Manila. Then I let it be played with their DVD player. It is very clear,so I let it be played in the rush button to speed play it.I also tries the other copies of pirated CD's.It is very clear just like the others. When I came home--I tried to play it in my DVD player yet to to my desmay,it did not play. Why is it like that when in the players of the store where I bought it played very clearly without any hang ups?

Somd brands of dvd drivers/players can't play pirated ones or even home burned ones.
Buti if you can see the files, then the best option is to copy it to your harddrive and play it there.

My DVD player has no capacity to burn and copy.It only plays a CD of any kind I put to play.Frequently it plays good to some original CD yet sometimes my puchased pirated CD is also good.I think it is from the way the owner of the shop where I bought the CD because other CD from other places do not play well or are really bad products.

Hmm, there are really DVD players that doesn't play pirated discs. Even the type of formats vary. I mean, some only recognize DVD formats from US and not UK for example. But I do hope you try abstaining from buying pirated stuff. I know pirated ones cost way lower than the original ones but buying them doesn't help our economy.

I know yet it helps me find some old movies never to be found in the shelves of the authorized stores. Some of my DVD copies which are from Taiwan are also original copies yet it is not read by my player.Sometimes my pirated ones are in superb condition that it plays the whole movies without any corruption whatsoever.

There is a great possibility that your DVD player at home is a branded one. When I say branded, I mean, quality DVD players. Players like these are rather picky and would favor original DVDs. The DVD player used to test-play your pirated DVD copies (I don't condone piracy, I am just answering your question matter-of-factly)is a knock-off, probably made in China. These players do not discriminate. They play all kind of DVDs.

I got your point.I think so because the DVD player is imported and brought here by my niece from America.Even if I got several original DVD copies,I am just curious about the new movies that is why I am forced to buy the fake ones.
