The Royal Wedding

I never went to sleep. I watched The Royal Wedding from beginning to end. It was beautiful, a class act. I wish Kate and William the best. They make a beautiful couple. They seem genuinely in love and look very happy. Everyone looked happy, even The Queen. She is usually so stoic but she had a wonderful smile entering The Abbey, greeting and being greeted. She was kissed on the cheek. She shook hands. I thought that it was not allowed to touch The Queen but some kissed her on the cheek and shook her hand. And she was beaming. I did not go to sleep until about 6:30 am. I only got a few hours sleep and feel terrible but i knew that I would. It was was worth it. I love pageantry and I love watching in real time.

What did you not like about Kate's dress? I thought that she looked beautiful. I loved her dress. So did most of the fashion industry. I loved her sister's dress also although I think there was some criticism about the sister's dress because it was also white. And a little sleek.

Thank you for responding to my post. myLot is a great site that it brings together a person from China and a person from Texas to discuss The Royal Wedding. And The Royal Wedding was a wonderful event in that billions of persons from all over the world came together to watch and wish Kate and William the best of luck. A person in China and a person in Texas both watched The Royal Wedding in London. And we discussed it on myLot. Way to go.

It was a beautiful ceremony and they did truly look happy! The Queen did look pleased with the day and as she was greeting people I noticed that she did not speak to or much more than acknowledge Camilla. I thought that was a sign that there could be trouble within the relationship with her and Prince Charles. Did anyone else notice it?

I did not notice any tension or snubbing of The Queen towards Camilla. Did she speak to Charles? Remember, The Queen is 85, not exactly a kid. She may have been a little fatigued from the excitement of the day. I thought that Camilla and Charles looked very happy together. I thought that everyone within The Royal Family was beaming. Not so for some of the guests. Some of the guests looked confused and awkward. And I was not impressed with how some of the guests were dressed.

It was very heartwarming. The wedding had a good feel to it. I stayed up all night to watch. I finally got a little sleep after 6 am. I do not feel very well today. I am very fatigued and a bit on the cranky side. Luckily, I did not have to work or be anywhere today. I planned it like this. I love pageantry. I think that Kate and William make a beautiful couple. They seem very much in love. And I wish them all the happiness in the world.

I loved the Royal Wedding and I was glued to the television and it was just a great day all round. I would have liked to have been in Central London at the time but I suppose it was ok watching it on the tv. I made sure that I got the download on to my ipod touch so now I have this memory for life! I thought Kate looked great and William was very smart in his military uniform. I also loved the choral music, that was very inspirational.
I think it's the stuff of dreams, how a normal girl can suddenly become a princess and be given a tital of Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge! William is a very lucky chap as Kate is absolutely beautiful! Andrew
