Me and my friend just started a blog that pays guest bloggers. Here are the details: They can be contributors: 1-10 articles per month- $0.05 per article plus 1 adsense unit share 11-20 articles per month-$0.08 per article plus 1 adsense unit share 21-30 articles per month- $0.12 per article plus 1 adsense unit share 31-40 article per month- $0.15 per article plus 1 adsense uit share or they can be co-owners: minumim of 5 articles per month with the maximum ad units share Articles are Q and A type and can be as short as 80 words per article. Do you think the pay is fair? If not, how much should I pay per article? I need your opinion and I have been trying to research on the fair pay for quite sometime now before I open the application for writers to join. Hoping for your help on this matter. Thanks so much!

it depends on how many words you require per article. i remember when i was getting ypwards of $10- for 500 words and now you are lucky if you get $2- per. i recently had a gig writing and got $3 per 500 words. if you want quality, you are going have to pay for it. because the net is so saturated with 'writers' now, the prices have dropped significantly. let me know when you stuff is up and running, i wouldnt mind taking a peek.

I write online and I usually get paid $0.30 per 100 words. It's still cheap, but already acceptable for new writers.
