I have been into online earning from 4 years now. I made account on various sites like comparedby.us and ciao.com and many other such sites. The problem with the genuine sites is that they either don't accept members from Asia and/or they soon shut off. I made handsome bucks from Ciao.com and comparedby.us but then both of us are non-existent now. I am currently writing reviews on reviewstream.com which pays a petty fee for each review. For now I am not really sure about any good writing sites. I am a full time worker so I can't accept the writer tasks though they pay handsomely. Even I would be interested in getting info about some new article writing sites which are paying decent income right now.

@ proBlogger i don't think any such site is there which you mentioning but i couldn't deny since i had not tasted yet. Sent the info and i will try it out. As It is hard that any site give you such a huge amount of money. 30 rs means more than half a dollar which seems unusual as it high.

That's what I do to make money - write and edit. Subjects depend on the jobs offered, since I go for freelance contracts rather than just writing randomly and hoping to earn from revenue share. I know for a fact that there are a lot of Indian writers who earn this way, too. How do I know? One of my clients has a team based in India and I edit their content!

Editing/proofing work is rare. Far too many companies believe it's unnecessary or pay really poorly. It's a lot easier to find writing work, to be honest. All the editing gigs I've had (except one) came from the freelancing bid sites - specifically GAF (which is now Freelancer) and Elance. As with most jobs from those places, they're one-off contracts. I've just been incredibly lucky and landed a contract from a client with whom I had a great working relationship. He then went on to effectively continue the work and now gives me as much regular writing/editing as I can handle. My other (semi-regular) clients are also the result of initial short contracts done well, who now turn to me first when they need something checked. One of them just piled another 200+ articles into my work queue (a bit at a time, thank goodness!). The exception to the bid sites was a single individual who came through my blog. She needed a book edited before publishing. That turned out very well: though I was horribly underpaid for the amount of time it took, the experience was extremely valuable. A good trade-off. Note that you'll need an exceptional command of English to keep editing work. (For example, how many mistakes can you spot in your last quick response, ignoring the 'gr8'? ) (And yeah, I know it was just a comment reply, not an article, but it's a good way of checking yourself. )
