How do you know when it’s time to continue holding on or time to let go?

In my case, when you have done all you can and it's not because of you that this has not happened or maybe you are not prepared to face the challenge that you want to take, these are signs that show you that you have to give up. Yes, I agree with you. When we have tried everything and failed to hold it then it is time to let thing go. If we got the chance to tie it back then we should have try it.

When everything starts to fall apart, it is a certain sign that it may be time to let go. this can be the most difficult thing for us to face but sometimes meeting it hsad on is the best thing we can do for ourselves.

I agree that if you have tried everything and nothing changes then it is time to give up. Sometimes we don't want to see that it is time. In the future when we look back, you can see that it was time or maybe past time. I don't think it is a sign of weakness to give up if you have tried everything. I think it is more a sign of intelligence.

Hi Santosmarichris. It depends on what you are giving up on. If you are in love with someone and try for a long time and nothing improves then it may have never been meant that you be together. Me I tried for 12 almost 13 years to please my ex and what a mistake that was. But I kept trying and no matter how hard I tried it kept staying the same no love return until he wanted something. But then again God don't like quitters and maybe God has a plan for you. I know because I stayed with my ex God gave me a great man that really loves me. So I am happy that the bad years are gone and the happy years are here to stay. So God may have a plan for you in this life so never give up keep the faith and praying about the things in your life and God will always show you a way out of situations in this world. If you trust in HIM and have faith that HE will show you what HE wants from you. I give up because I never thought that anything could change , many things have never work in my life and it's hard to convince me although giving up now isn't exactly giving up entirely , giving up on one thing doesn't mean the world , of course I might eventually realize that the problem is only on this side of the rainbow... this is a question where I can empathize because during this dark era I've been the question that I'm holding on to is this one
