hello friends,
i read an article that says electromagnetic radiations from cell phones can induce current in metalic grids, i wear 'wired bra' it has metallic grid in it, so here current will be induced. i don't have much idea about these waves.
Are they harmful? how to avoid these radiations? should i stop wearing wired bras? is it safe? how many here wear a wired bra?
men are welcome to share their ideas.

It's so tempting to make silly comments about electric boobies...
There was a lot of concern a while back about the waves from cell phones damaging people, but I think the practical result was something like "don't strap it to your head and you'll be fine".
I doubt very much whether the current induced would be noticeable. Since the human body conducts electricity, you'd probably just notice a slight rise in stress levels (which are affected by static electricity, among other things) or a little tingling at worst.
Not something I'd worry about, to be honest. I carry my mobile in my jeans pocket and have never noticed any electric current zooming through my zip...

hi spike,
you always make me smile with your replies. you got a very good sense of humour.
i too think that cellphone radiations are not that severe. but some articles really make us panic and doubt others.
have a nice day.

Dear Anny
I have heard about this too, but i am not worried because my bra are plain and simple not even padded, they are made from pure cotton, too soft and comfortable, why take a risk?
Better stop wearing the wired bra, wear plain that should give good support
Thanks for sharing this information
Cheers.
God bless you, have a nice day ahead.
Kalyani ‘Namastey’. .

Radiation in phones is so minimal that it is almost not enough to talk about. I have read articles on it and am convinced that I am in no danger (there is also talk that if you have the phone up to your head that radiation will leak into your brain).
The truth is radiation is in the air we breathe. It is all around us and a part of life itself.
Just like anything... too much of a good thing is harmful.
Thanks

Im not sure about the scientific side of this arguement and although there is a couple of other posts here i am not sure that people are hitting the mark of your discussion.
Yes i wear a wired bra, i also believe most of my friends and family well atleast the women in the family also wear wired bras. They are the most widely availbe and provide the most attractive and shaply bras available on the market. I think there was another mylotter that raised a valid point about zippers... and that got me think about jewellery and watches cuff links etc... would this means that all of these meatl items conduct electricity and this radiation that is emitted from our cell phones are dangerous to many more people than first indicated? other accessories like handbags, belts and headbands may also conduct waves. but as also stated the body conducts electricity, which is why workers wear rubber soled boots and you cannot touch someone who is being eletricuted as the current will pass strait through them too you. I would be interested to watch this conversation and hope someone smart enough to answer these questions find it and enlightens us all on the subject, risks and precautions we can take to minimise exposure.

hello,
guess the advise is just right.. we take precautions.
wired bras are now using hard plastic which gives the same comfort as the wired bras.
have a nice day.
