Good video game designing program

Hey, I'd like to create my own video game for PC. Anyone know any good programs that a beginer can use and that can export as an exe file (i tried scratch, but thats the part that i dont like). Thanks in Advance!

There are many programs you can use. Such programs are RPG Toolkit, Game Maker and the RPG Maker series. There are lots out there. If you are looking to develop a specific type of game, then you might wanna go with one specializing in making that type of game.
