I am a member of GomezPeer Zone and it is completely legitimate and safe to run. For something which is 'set and forget', I find it pays remarkably well once you have been approved (and I have already been paid). The drawback is that it can take some time to get approved (sometimes up to a month). They require PCs which are running a variety of Windows versions and on a variety of Internet connections. It is important to have your PC on and connected to the Internet for as long as possible while you are waiting for approval. This allows them to regularly check whether your PC meets their requirements. Once you have been approved, you can run it on as many PCs as you like (very good for people who own Internet cafes or are System Administrators for a company with many PCs) but the maximum that you can earn a month is $45. The minimum payment is $5 and whatever you earn in one month is carried forward to the next month if you haven't reached the minimum. The price they pay per minute of usage time (not the same as the time you are online) is to be found on their website. I am in the UK and it looks as though I am going to be making between $6 and $8 a month using one PC.

I'm a member, and it's legit, but sometimes it takes a very long time to get approved.
