I was thinking of joining Bright Hub, as they do pay upfront for articles. I think they keep the rights to your work, right? I wasn't going to put all of my articles on there (I submit to a few sites), but just a few a month. I think new members can only write up to five a month. Is there anything I should know before joining? Are there deadlines? Do they give you a list of ideas per channel to choose from, or can you come up with your own? Also, do you have to submit your W9 right away? I think with AC, you submit it once you hit $500. But I know this can vary per site. Sorry for the list of twenty questions lol. I'm just curious about it and whether or not I should give it a try. I'm thinking about it. But since it will be the first site I would be writing on where I may not keep the rights to my work, I would like to think about this more. Thanks!

I am looking into writing for some other sites besides Associated Content as well. I have looked at Bright Hub and I have looked at some of the other sites as well. I enjoy getting the upfront payments and that is how I am making my money currently.

Carolscash - Same here. I mean, we can earn PPVs on these sites, but I like the upfront payments. I think Bright Hub pays about $10 per article. I'm still trying to learn about it before joining. I know it's legit, just want to make sure it's for me. But I'm getting to a point where I need another site for upfront payments (in addition to AC). I also know of Demand Studios and Textbroker. I thought I heard DS was strict, but I don't know. I'm still trying to learn how Textbroker works.

Tammy - have you tried Constant Content? They're strict, but you have the chance to earn good money there! Me, I'm too busy with WoW to search further. They pay upfront AND find me the work! Based in the Uk, but just opened up in USA (Canada, but close enough!)

I've heard of it, but I haven't tried it yet. I'll have to look into it! Thanks! :) I was accepted to Bright Hub. Right now I'm only doing arts and crafts articles, which pays for page views only (but I think they pay more than Associated Content, which I'm also a member of). I want to test the waters with it and then try to apply for a channel that offers upfront payment. I was only accepted over the weekend though, and I have no had the time to post but I do want to get to that this week.
