The temperature here is getting hotter everyday. The situation was aggravated with water shortage and electric power lost yesterday. We have no water for two days now and we still don't know when we could have a supply. On the last few days, we only have water from 4am to 7am, that is only 3hours a day where we have to fill up all container and wash our clothes. I could live without electricity but with no water for days, that would be too difficult. Do you agree with me?

Well I am fortunate that we haven't experienced any power cuts or water shortages. But with this heat, i think that is really dangerous.

Yes, you are very fortunate. It's our 3rd day today that we have no water. Our containers are all exhausted and it's laundry day tomorrow. It's a great problem specially we have old and young people in the house who needs to take a bath at least twice a day to prevent further sickness. The neighborhood are all mad at the situation. They told us that we need to pay P1,600.00 or around $38 for delivery of 20 drums of water and that would be too expensive for us. I'm praying for sufficient rain that could solve the situation.

Wow! That is just too much to pay for. I think greedy businessmen are taking advantage of your situation. At our place we only pay Php25 per drum of water. I hope your situation will be resolved soon.

Oh, I am glad that we don't have water shortage here. What part in the Philippine's are you from? Are you from the metro? Yes, It's so hot here, we're really praying for rain but I heard that there's a typhoon in the bicol region and maybe it will come here (hopefully, but won't cause any damage, just bring rain and not wind.
I agree with you we can live with no electricity but with no water that would be pure hell.

Yeah I can feel your suffering as well...The water and electric supply ofen be cut off in summer for the demand is so large that they can't offer enough for everyone...It is really terrible to have no water for such a long time in extreme hot weather and it brings much more inconvenience to our daily life. Wish it can restore the supply as soon as possible.

Problems with water shortage and electricity being cut off are normal things to happen during summer. Consumption for these are just high during this season, that sometimes the supply isn't sufficient for such consumption. Usually when there is no electricity there is also no water.
Having water in this season could be so unbearable. We usually use water for most of our daily activities. I think having 3 hours a day for you to fill up your containers is better than have none at all. I hope your situation would improve soon.

Oh i am sorry to hear that. Where is that?
I can say, we are luckier here in the province, because it gets to rain once in a while, like today and yesterday evening. That way, although the sun is up it'still not that hot. I like the way the weather is now at the province.
Anyway, just as you said, it's better not to have no electricity than no water. It's really hard to go on with your daily activities such as bathing, washing the dishes and clothes etc. without water.
