About a year ago My employeer sent me for my black belt certification. I passed the exam done my projects and now am a certified black belt. I have looked around at job that require a black belt certification and it seems everything I find also requires yu to have a college degree. I have 7 years experience in the field I am in and a black belt certification why doesn't this qualify me for any thing or do I need to keep looking. By the way I am in quality Control.

Wow, I guess that makes you overqualified and yet, underqualified at the same time. What is the margin of error in six sigma? .0006 or something like that? Boy, you must be really great at quality control. Too bad for you, most of the jobs nowadays require at least college degree. But I am sure, with your experience, you will be able to find work sooner or later. Good luck on your job hunting!

hey Taski Thanks, i guess you could say yes. I did some statistical anaylasis of the situation and found a standard deviation of 1.5 that I may never find a desirable job unless I go back to college. OH Hum I guess I will have to go back to school at the ripe old age of 36

You're still young. There are still lots of opportunities waiting for you. Do not let a simple setback like lack in educational qualification discourage you from pursuing what you want in your life. While you're waiting for the right opportunity, you can try online consultation works related to your field of experience. I am not sure if it is okay to recommend other websites here in myLot so just send me a private message if you're interested.

HI Jyaegel, I'm just a beginner for the lean sigma program, I got my white belt last year and now looking forward for a green belt training. I find the tools (DMAIC..) are useful for my work in troubleshooting production problems and budgeting.. Don't worry Jyaegel, I think you have a bright future ahead!

When the opportunity came up I jumped on it. It seems to me know that it was one of the best desicions I have ever made. Thanks for the encouragement.
