Rose is a pretty good leader and in the last season he really came to play. But My money is on Miami Heat and of course Lebron James. I am a fan so they are in a pretty good competition.

I think derek Rose deserves the MVP award. He lead the Chicago Bulls to the best record in the 2100-2011 NBA season. Rose has become the Bulls leader. When Rose recieved the award he was very humbled. You don't hear alot of that nowaday from sports stars! He seems to have his head on straight!

Very true can't find a player like that this day. Even when MJ made a speech that they got the best PG he was even humbled by that and not brag about it.

No one else deserves the award more than Derrick Rose. Not only did he improve in every stat line, he also carried the Chicago Bulls to the best record in the NBA. Even when Carlos Boozer went down for a couple of months, the Bulls was still consistent. When Joakim Noah went down with an injury, it was Rose who helped his team to not skip a beat. They simply continued winning. If it wasn't for Rose's brilliance on the court, the Bulls would have folded early in the season.

Although Lebron Jame's stats were amazing, I believe the MVP battle was between Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose. Then you have to realize that Durant is playing with Westbrook who could also put up 30 on any given night. Derrick Rose has nobody on his team that could do that, and still managed to give his team the best record in the East and the number one seed in the playoffs. Derrick Rose definitely deserved the MVP award!!!! Having said all that... GO HEAT!!!!!!

Value to a team-wise I'd go with Dwight Howard but because of his suspensions and issues with T's and the way Rose has handled himself throughout this season very humble and not growing a big ego... He's very much deserving to be this years MVP.
