Brad Hodge and Raiphi Gomez stars in KTK win against KKR.

A magnificent cameo of 35 from 19 balls from Brad Hodge and 2 for 14 of 4 overs from Raiphi Gomez, an upcoming cricketer from Kerala, ensured a hard fought win for Kochi Tuskers Kerala played at Nehru Stadium, Kochi. This was the last match on the ground for IPL this season. Put in to bat by KKR after winning the toss, KTK scored 156 for 5 of their quota of 20 overs thanks to captains innings of 55 of just 41 balls from Jayawardene and a swashbuckling 35 of just 19 balls from Brad Hodge. KKR started well through Kallis and Morgan and were on course to victory until a magnificent over, a double wicket maiden, from Gomez got rid of Kallis and skipper Gambhir in eleventh over. Morgan played well for his 66 of 51 balls but had to sacrifice his wicket in preference to Yusuf Patel when later tried to steal a non existent run. KKR finally could manage only 139, 18 short of the target.

Yes off course Brad Hodge and Gomez stars in KTK win over KKR.because of excellent last over hitten for boundaries by Brad Hodge and two wickets taken by Gomez.

Hi divakar,
Actually I could not watch the full match as I was occupied in a different job. Till I was there Kolkata Knight Riders were playing good shots but afterwards what followed I did not know.
If we look into the KKR bouncing back I thought this would be another win for them. As it is said you can not make any prediction of the win when the game is between almost equally strong teams.
