That is really hard! It'd be really difficult if we didn't have that letter in the alphabet. It'd be such a pain to read phrases and sentences with that letter missing.. Hey wait a minute! I was able to make these sentences even with that letter missing! And it's perfectly understandable! Isn't that kewl? Hahaha...

Hi umabharti! Thanks for your response. You're right. This teaches me that every single thing in this world affects another, and even those that we consider almost insignificant, in reality, still has a lot to offer.

Hi millefeuille! Thanks for your response! Yes, you're right. And even the word 'word' itself wouldn't exist as well.

This had been running around the internet for a long time, but I'm going to share it anyway. It's said that if you scramble the letters up in a word, as long as the first letter and last are in the correct spot, you can still dchephir (decipher) what the word is. Some people say it works for them, some say it doesn't. It works for me. Also, whenever you write in short hand (note takers will get this), you take out all the vowels because you can still understand the word without it and it makes it faster to take notes. ntrstng tpc! (interesting topic)

Hi cfry02! Thanks for your response. I know what you mean. I have read that somewhere before also, but I think it would really be difficult to read sentences with some letters missing, though we can still read them and completely comprehend what th sentences mean.

It wouldn't stop anyone from understanding what is being said or written. There are no words in the English language that includes non-existing letters. If "O" didn't exist, words would not be made to include it.

Hi there, Well, without the letter 'O' it would have been difficult for comprehension and ineligibility in writing. Every language has its features and in English too there is. When the language evolved all the necessary letter were created so that communication does not suffer. Now forget about 'O' and think of the '0' (zero) invented in India. This numerical sign is much much important than say 'O', the alphabet.
