UFO in Manila back in 1954

I just wanted to share. This is the only UFO case in the Philippines documented by US Project Bluebook.
A giant UFO flew from Marikina to EDSA (then known as Highway 54) on Nov 28, 1954 at lunchtime.
Though not mentioned in the writings, I assume it passed by the then brand new Ateneo campus in Loyola Heights and the future site of La Salle Greenhills (LSGH would be opened in 1959).
Sounds cool! Manila is indeed part of UFO folklore and history :)

I wasn't born yet in 1954, but I tell you that I saw one flying saucer hovering my town in Antipolo in 1996. It lingered long enough for me to consider the sighting an alien occurrence...
Believe it or not... but I know what I saw...

Here's the original link where I first saw it about 8 years ago. I was just browsing through list of sightings when I stumbled upon the only entry for the Philippines. Glad this website is still around after all these years!

I hadn't heard of this before, i am quite interested in ufo sightings and alien contact. I know it sounds weird, i have never seen one or made contact with aleins i just think it's hard to believe in so much space we are the only planet with life. It's hard to believe so many people have reported sightings of something that doesn't exist. This has been going on for hundreds of years around the globe. I wonder sometimes if we are test subjects, planted here by aliens. I would love to know the truth about this but i guess we will never know. Not if we can only count on our governments for accurate information.

wow.. is that really true? i did not know that.. i think this is the only news or fact that has been said about ufos here in the Philippines. Most of the sightings are from other countries.. yes it is really cool..

In the field of Science, it is still considered as a Folklore if there are no proven evidence to support,
but, if there are evidence... still, Science wants another more and plenty of evidence or samples to make that statement more true.....
that's the reason why on what they see is considered as Unidentified flying object because it is not clear and valid.....
this will only fall to the category of "Closed Encounter of the First Kind"

It's probably surveying the area and the occupants are in awe because they know this is where People Power will be born, lol.
I saw in Wikipedia that there are two cases in Las Pinas that happened within a span of 4 years from each other: year 2000 and then 2004. In both cases, a witness was there to shoot a video of what happened and ABS-CBN even interviewed the guy.
I think I have seen documentaries before about other reported cases of UFO sightings in the provinces, but I cannot locate the website anymore. There is even one local actor who is not popular anymore, that advocates UFO research in the 90s.
