To What Extent Would You Share?

With too many social networking sites now, it's really hard to tell which ones are there to serve you and which ones are there to just get your e-mail and send you a lot of spam messages. Many people get so hooked in these social networking sites and spend most of their time there.
Many people share most their information in such sites such as their names, address, phone number, etc. There might be nothing wrong with that as they only add their "friends" who are the only people who can see such information. However, don't you think it is still pretty dangerous?
With the good comes the bad. Though a lot of people may be using such sites for their personal use and to interact with friends, there are definitely people who use such sites to promote their unethical ways. There are people who use these sites to lie to other people, know their information, and scam them.
Another thing I see dangerous about using such sites is the fact that they can be hacked. Someone somewhere might get your picture and used it in a malicious manner. Also, children and teenagers who misuse such sites are prone to people who would pretend to be good then meet them and do something terrible to them - and there are a lot of experiences like this. But a lot of people do not seem to even bother to think about such dangers.
How about you? To what extent do you share information in such sites? Are you worrying about the dangers too? Or are you confident with their security that you will not be a victim of dangerous people?
