Just got reprimanded by myLot

I received the following email from myLot: "This is a notification from myLot. Your post has been deleted because of the following reason: I felt this was a bit rude." I wonder if there's some accessory penalty aside from being given a negative rating. I seem to notice that my number of posts don't increase. Maybe I am just paranoid. A little enlightenment would help.

Hmm, I didn't know we could get an email from mylot notifying us when our discussions are deleted. I have experienced being deleted as well but I've never received an email.
Anyway, I have no idea how to help you in your queries. Maybe we should try to be better citizens here at mylot, I think that would help us both.

i had posts deleted a couple of times and i do receive mylot notification...maybe it all depends if you activated your preferences if you want to receive such notification or not.

I do not think that was aimed at you taski, maybe you replied in a post made by other mylotter and that post did not fit mylot guidelines, therefore it was deleted. it happens to me,when i reply in a post and then it got deleted, i would often receive such notifications. better read the guidelines:)

I know about the reporting of abuse, but I didn't think I was abusive. Obviously, I was that to somebody. I accept constructive criticism. That way, I can improve myself and my myLot experience. Thank you for the response. You have been helpful, in a way. I will take heed of your advice.

Really? I have never seen an email like that myself. The only "notice of removal" emails I have ever received were from people putting up discussions that were deleted.
As far as the number of posts, sometimes the system lags behind itself and all of a sudden you will see a jump in your numbers.

Thanks for the response. The posts are adding up now. Maybe it's system lag after all. But still I suffered point deductions from my bad post. I didn't think that someone would be hurt by my response. I just tried to speak my mind. But I am not justifying. I know it is my fault. Lesson learned. I guess I'll just charge it to experience. No use crying over spilled milk.

Hi! there are some rules we should follow here in mylot. Theres are also topics that are not allowed to be discussed here. I think you have to check the mylot guidelines so that you know what you are doing and be rewarded as well. If you discussions fall on the disallowed topics, they will send you that message regardless of who you are. Just post quality discussions and you can recover you loses. You can also use mylot search and earn few cents that is automatically added to your earnings.

I was a bit confused too. It sounded like the article was rejected because someone found it rude, but I'm not sure that's what he meant. That doesn't sound like a professional response from MyLot. I didn't think people were even notified if something got deleted, but then I haven't had that happen yet.

Don't feel that way, when you receive a notification. At least, they are telling you that it's against their guidelines, not merely finding your discussion already nowhere. 
Anyway, i do receive notifications too, whenever i responded to a poll type discussion.

Don't disappoint if you received from mylot admin notification that your post has been deleted because almost all of us received such kind of notice. I also notified many times about my post or my respond.

No, there is no accessory penalty. Your post gets removed and that is usually the end of it unless a user starts to show a pattern of regular abuse, in which case I merely cancel the user's account.

I'm just new here in mylot and I haven't received any reprimand from the Admin. Although we cannot please everybody and we cannot push or encourage other people to agree with our point of views, I'll start being mindful of other people's feelings and way of thinking so I won't be able to offend other mylot members. Thanks for sharing your experience.
