My girlfriend told me the day before yesterday that she would move to work in the place where her company had a new consctuction programm. So I had to go to her city to help her deal with her things. When I was going to the bus station, a call from my nephew reminded me of a meeting in his school which required one of his relatives to take part in it. Because both he and I live in the same city,I was chosen to attend the meeting. So I had to say sorry to him and ask my mother who lives in the countryside nearby to go there. When I finshed the call, another call from my friend came.He asked me if I had some time to help him with his housework.I had to say sorry again. How busy I was today!

I understand how you have been busy. I get like this many of times. Sometimes it is very hard for me to make appointment with others because of other things that I have to do. It is not your fault at all. If you are busy, then that is the truth. I know what it is like telling someone no and that you could not help them at all. I know with myself, I tend to feel guilty when I tell someone no, or when I cancelled an appointment that I wanted to go to. I hope that you can get another chance at helping your family and friends again.

Oh I have way too many days like that when I feel that I exist soley to be at everyone else's disposal. I have my 24 yr old staying at my house as well as my 17 yr old...plus I work full time and have a ton of stuff going on...so much so that I can hardly grab a free moment. Last week, after a full day , I had an hour to spare before babysitting my grandson for the evening. I had to run to the grocery store to get some dinner so as to feed the 17 yr old. I am en route to the grocery store when I get a text from the 17 yr old asking if I'll take her tanning.Me: "no...not today" Her: "really? why?" Me:" I am getting dinner and I have to babysit" Her:"Can I take that as a "no"? Me: yes you can. a few minutes pass as I race around the grocery store. And then I get this... Her:" Bri says that you have time to take me tanning before you babysit." Bri is the mom to the child I'll be babysitting for. I was furious. I had time to finish shpping and rush to put the grocieries away, run my 17 yr old tanning and get home just in the nick of time to babysit.
