i want to write for a magazine. but they're looking for a writer who is very much interested in fashion. my current situation reminded me of the devil wears prada. i have no fashion sense, i just try pull something out of my closet and voila! i've got something to wear. though i admit that i have no fashion sense, it is for the same reason that i don't go out the streets causing commotion or provoking anyone to air stones my way, so i do dress up casually. now i'm interested with fashion. how do i begin writing about it?

You should read more of fashion magazines and see for latest trends in the present time also watch fashion shows and read the articles by fashion experts to keep yourself updated. It doesn't matter what you wear, fashion is also about being comfortable in your own skin. As far as writing is concerned you can do that very well by just reading books and magazines on latest fashion.

Read a lot of magazines, for research. I suggest Vogue, Elle, the "big" ones in fashion. I don't trust other small magazines, because to me, they don't have a sense of fashion! haha Find out the target readers of the magazine you want to work for, and go from there. Different people have different fashion tastes. It's always good to know about the basics of wearing clothes. The classic white blouse never goes out of style, but it depends on the cut. Good luck on your writing career!
