The teleprompter must have gotten President Hugo Chavez speech mixed up with President Obama's speech. One of the problems President Bush (and President Obama) face with terrorists captured on the battle field is that according to international Treaties those people must be returned to the country where they were captured, except these people were not citizens of that country so the next step is to return them to their country of citizenship. In both cases those countries do not want these people. The second treaty states that you can not release a person captured on the battle field to any country that will or may cause substantial bodily harm. The problem again is if these are returned to countries that would accept them they might be tortured. What President Obama is proposing, and was not said by MS Maddow, is what Russia, China and other Dictatorships use to keep the people under control. You say something against the government and with in days you suddenly are gone and nobody know wher you are or what happened to you. In time political opposition is considered a threat and those people locked up for prolong detention or reeducation. MS Maddow becareful when you hear that knock on your door late at night.

.... Patriot Act expanded the Powers of the Executive branch way beyond the original limits of our government this train has started rolling since the 1930s and people are just now beginning to notice it. We the people need to realize that this isn't the president or even the past presidents but a slow movement by an evil machine that is ran by two parties that claim to want different things for the country that want to play us into believing in their platforms that are quickly will ditch if the opportunity comes to take more power way from both the states and the people of this nation. They even support this whole Birther things giving fuel to the fire just to keep people from looking at the true issue which is the direction the country is going not from having a Natural Born Hawaiian as President but from the slow erosion of your rights and the first to go in setting up the Police State that the Republicans and Democrats want to set up is the erosion of rights to Public trials and to seek counsel. These are things we cant have in a Police State.

I agree with your response up to the part where you insinuate that the 'birther' movement keeps people from looking at the true issues. IT IS the tip of the iceberg of all the treasonist things being done to undermine our Constitution. It is the end product of all those years of erosion. We will probably never know for sure, they've come that far in their strangle hold on America. I don't think this administration will let us get to elections in 2012. Because they know that the American people are getting wise to them. Am I paranoid? am I a nutcase? Feel free to call me such in 2013 if I am wrong.

http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/04/the_tea_party_timothy_mcveigh.html http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/04/confession_of_the_oklahoma_cit.html These two articles written by the author of the book 'The Third Terrorist: The Middle East Connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing' Jayna Davis, reveal that evidence exists that Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols colaborated with an Iraqi soldier in America and the FBI was given enough information to find this Iraqi in question (John Doe #2) and failed to act on it. It was more important to tie McVeigh and Nichols to white supremists and neo Nazis (why?) yet they were unable to find even one witness or piece of evidence that tied McVeigh or Nichols to such groups. It is very important to make it appear that Americans are more dangerous to the security of America than Islamic extemists. the Patriot Act played on our fears of foreign terrorists and now we have been told to even fear ourselves. http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/election/1006 A secret 10-page DHS document sent to law-enforcement agencies nationwide is stirring up a political firestorm. Entitled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” the DHS report, dated April 7, sloppily (or cleverly and maliciously) demonizes millions of law-abiding Americans, conflating them with violent, criminal groups such as Neo-Nazis and “white supremacists” simply because they adhere to political beliefs at variance with those of the administration. We went from whoever wanted government control being an "extremist" and now today the people who want less government are "extremists". How did this come about? Main Stream Media. UCLA finds that there is a left bias of MSM. http://newsroom.ucla.edu/portal/ucla/Media-Bias-Is-Real-Finds-UCLA-6664.aspx?RelNum=6664 And the only reason, IMHO that there is still a strong conservative movement in our country is the internet. That to has been targeted for government control by our president and Congress. I saw this video when it first was aired on YouTube. I was immediately told by liberals on here that I shouldn't trust YouTube videos. why? There is a campaign by the left to discredit certain viewpoints as being 'fringe' and 'unreliable'. That is why. I pointed out that this video was first broadcast on national TV by a well known liberal commentator on MSNBC. So what the responder was telling me in effect was, don't trust liberal commentators or main stream media?

I find it repugnant and impossible to listen to either the usurper or Rachel Maddox. Anything they say is fraught with lies and peril and produces a horrendous headache. She, of course, should be off air since she is a a dimwit, non-investigative "reporter" "journalist"(???) He, of course, should be detained in prison for at least one lifetime for treason, sedition, "high crimes and misdemeaners", and who knows what relationship to several murders.
