Anybody earned with affiliate marketing?

While searching web and in several magazines, I have gone through the reviews about affiliate marketing. Reviews say that the people are earning thousands of dollars through affiliate marketing offered by cj.com etc., I have also tried cj.com, sending the cj links to the friends and other people through emails, but I did not make even a penny. Anybody have earned through affiliate marketing, especially through cj. please share.

Well, I do earn quite a bit but by now it is not enough to live solely on that stream of income. That might be because I don't operate affiliate marketing 24/7 nor 2/5. I just do it when I'm feeling like it. Probably you shouldn't worry too much but take care of what you promote, where you promote it and how you do it.
