Faster PC Speed

My PC is really slow. Its probably because its really old. We totally would by a new one but my parents just don't have the money right now so I have to like with what I got. Anyways its a dell and its about 5-6 years old. I can't remember exactly when we bought it. We also tried defragging it a few times but that didn't really seem to do that much. Please help! Thanks!

There are a couple things, as you did well in defragging it would also be good if you look at some sites that have free software to boost and clean systems, just be sure to investigate and read to make sure they are legit. Next I would say one problem is that it is a dell they tend to have many issues, one suggestion is craigslist they often have cheap good computers with little work to do on them or would even say sometimes there are free ones on there as well. I just found a free desktop on there and it is a good comp all needed was a hard drive and I got one of those for not too much. Hope this helps a little.
