my ICT seminar experience

we had these tasks done yesterday during the ICT summit.i was glad i was one of the recipients and our school was handed 21 new computer units given by generous sponsors.in the morning, the first lecture was on the comprehensive basics of networking which were apparently rendered by an ICT expert himself.somehow, using information networks, sharing and integrating them in our daily endeavors will further improve our learning. we were thankful that we always had our first hand experiences here. we had our eyeglasses on to make sure that UTP(unshielded twisted pairs) wires with their respective color codes were in their right places. as we all know these cables are essential because data are transmitted through them as electrical pulses and affect the success of communication. we also had the assigning of IP adds. that was followed by a lecture on electronic waste management specifically on how to reduce, reuse and recycle these devices. in the afternoon, we gained knowledge on more terms .we have learned that we can actually recycle some PC components by swapping them with other PC parts that are still functional. another lecture on safety issues on how to deal with PC components was also discussed. the ignorance of this could subject personnel and equipment to a range of electrical hazards. so we need to know. do you have your ICT seminar experience?please share.
