Do you upload videos in youtube?

I have been a member of youtube for many years now- but I have only uploaded 2 videos, and they are just a bunch of paintings with music. The main reason hwy I joined youtube was to favorite videos that i like and comment on videos. What's your reason of joining youtube?

Same as you. I am just there to comment on some of the videos and just watch. I am not a creative person when it comes to making videos, not to mention there are some strict policies to follow, like copyright and the data protection act-- to much to deal with, I just sit back and watch how other people's videos get taken down because they violated the rules such a shame really, some of the videos were good.

@AdalieM there are lots of rules about copyright which is why some videos don't have audio..youtube does have lots of rules. @CaptAlbertWhisker yeah, it's really nice when someone puts a thumbs up on your comment. I only got that a few times though, I didn't even know about it until I got a reply.

I do lots of commenting with an alternate account because I love getting thumbs up in video discussions. I know it sounds lame but it feels rewarding to see 50 people giving your comment a thumbs up, its like a huge achievement.

At first i wanted to show my cat doing silly stuf and i also did a tribute to an artist and i wanted to become youtube partner but lately i just watch videos and sometimes i comment some.

Yeah, I see lots of videos about animals in youtube too- especially cats and dogs. They are just so cute doing silly things and fighting too. I love watching videos lie that when I am bored..

Long time ago I uploaded a few of my son's videos to Youtube because I wanted to share it with my friends. I can't upload videos to my Youtube account any more because Youtube has been blocked in my country. I can't even visit it. I love China

I have never uploaded a video on youtube. i do like to watch so many of them though. A lot of videos are quite unique and fun to watch. some ideas are really out there! i am jealous sometimes!

Yes, I admire many youtube video uploaders.. I love to watch youtube videos everyday. I get jealous of them too, since they know how to make videos with awesome effects and lighting.

I have a channel with 2000 subscribers. I wont tell you my real youtube identity though because Mylot is my chamber of secrets. I have a fair share of fans and haters, I'm telling you haters are brutal while some fans are creepy. I will never share my youtube identity though, I have a very clean image in youtube and my mylot image will ruin it... All og my dirty laundry is here in mylot.....while my face is in youtube..... not gonna reveal things....

some times i upload a video in you tube,because my sister likes to see some video of her daughter, because my sister is in another country i register here at you tube because i need to upload some video and also i can like my favorite videos

Oh, so your sister is in another country and you are taking care of her daughter? Is she an OFw?? We should thank sites like these since it makes it easier to communicate with loved ones abroad and send pictures and videos.

My internet access isn't good enough to upload videos, and I really only use it when I'm looking for something specific or when someone sends me a link to a funny one.

I don't really remember how long it took to upload my 3-4 minutes videos but I don't think it was that long.. I use youtube every single day, since it has lots of funny videos daily.

Yeah, you should, it is actually fun doing a video but it is really tiring to put the effects and choose a song to match it. I mostly watch and like videos, don't even comment that much anymore. Thank you for your response.

It is already make me feel tired just watching the videos only ~ Yeah editing video is tedious but fun to do yet very lazy to add the effects.

I joined youtube because of the fact that they want me to create an account to verify my age and to display the flagged content, They got a great way to bring members doesn't it......!

Haha, that is a funny reason...I think that was also one of my reasons before, but I am not so sure about it. My age in youtube isn't even my real age at all.. but they don't post flagged contents in youtube anymore.

Hi, I have a youtube account and we're the same, i only uploaded 2 videos. I only made an account in youtube to share personal videos to my siblings who are working abroad, but since i'm more on taking pictures than video, i often use fb than youtube.

yeah, facebook is better when you want to share with your family since you can just tag them in a picture or video, and pictures load faster than videos too. Thank you for your response.

I haven't joined you tube. But I like the idea of being connected and enjoy people express themselves by splicing music and pics together and make a video. Makeshift amateur video interests me most as this is how real it could get. Its a stage where you can make up your stories and attest they were the truth. I joined once because it wants to verify my age. duh? I like the stream, but if you ask me its overrated.

I love watching amateur videos on youtube too- but some I don't call amateur becasue the effects are just great and the video was well-made, and some people became famous just because of this site.. Yes the stream is good too.

Hi. I do have a youtube acount. I got it so that i could comment & like other people's vids. I figure, I watch so many for free, that they deservve some thanks & appreciation! I do have a video camera and eventually will put some on...but for now...it's all about the others!

Yes,that is the main reason I gt it too- since when I tried to comment and favorite videos youtube said i can't since I had no account. YEah, I also feel obliged sometimes to say something about the video if it's really awesome.
