Yesterday after I finally got my lawn mower working I decided to plant the roses I bought on mother's day to plant in the yard in memory of her. I chose to plant them around a bench she always sat on drinking her coffee and smoking. Even though she hasn't used that bench in years I remember growing up that is what she would do. Get up,, get dressed do housework and then go outside and in between yard work she would sit on the bench and just watch the world. When we moved to the country she made sure that old beat up bench came with. And it is just a simple bench with two concrete pillars and just a plank of wood. But to me it means the world because of the memories. So I chose two rose bushes that were her favorite color and planted them on each side of it. Even though I just planted them and they are no where close to blooming I felt a little closer to her. Is there one object that you would never part with that reminds you of someone special in your life? What is it? And why is it so special to you?

I donĀ“t think an object would mean so much to me as it can always got lost or broken, but my memories will always be mine.
