When i have to go grocery shopping I usually try to do it on the days that I work to double up on trips for a gas savings, but then I hate fighting the crowds in the stores too. So sometimes I do like to go shopping on my days off early in the morning.
So when do you try to make your shopping trips?

Having worked at a grocery store in the past and working at one again now I know the best times to come in. Usually they are early morning until about 2 pm, and then 7 pm to the stores close at Midnight. Of course it also depends on the location. Both Grocery stores, the one I worked at in the past, and the one I work at now are located in almost rural areas so those times ring true.
Now at around 12 pm it does pick up a bit because of people coming in on their lunch etc to get a bit of shopping done, or those just getting off before picking up the kids. At 3 pm and on the kids are out and the moms come in with the kids to shop. It can get really busy then.
I am a cashier.

When I go, I usually make a day out of it so that I don't have to worry about buying food while at work or school. My goal is to try and get to certain places before they get crowded because I hate crowds, and when it is busy, the offerings are slim. Plus, I don't have to make any unnecessary trips to the store since I bought everything at once. Of course, this doesn't always work to plan but most of the time it does work.

I usually got my shopping trips in mid- morning till noon. In my area, not too many people shop in that part of the day so I take every advantage of shopping early and finishing my shopping early. Also, I take advantage of more shopping time and less traffic in the streets. I also kinda picked up that people in the market are more agreeable and cooperative to customers on that part of the day.

I love to shop and do it almost every day.Not forgetting something from the store and I need to go again. For me this is like a walk and saw friends.Because now I have a lot of free time I enjoy shopping.
