I think there are risks, but if you're careful with your privacy settings and only add people that you know you'll be ok. It's a safe site if you're sensible and just want to stay in touch with friends

Hi. griecy07. Welcome to myLot! I don't know. But I do know that I am not giving out any information when it comes to social networking sites. I don't display my private and personal information at all. My husband has told me that they use any information and photos so that the FBI can keep tabs on many people. They learn so much about people. I just know that nothing is safe at all online anymore. We just have to be very careful about what we display online. It can end up being dangerous and deadly. Who knows whom is using this information for their own means???

It is a safe place for social networking for as long as we keep our accounts private--our posts, photos, and status updates. Also, we should not add people who we do not personally know.
