My sister is in college and she is taking a music class and for the class she had to go to a jazz concert and I went with her, I didnt think I was going to like it and I thought I would be bored or put to sleep but the music. But I loved it, I would go to more jazz music stuff if only I knew when and where. I think I would take my kids if it were somthing that was outside where they wouldnt get to bored.

Oh, I just love jazz music. That's one of my favorite music. I keep a collection of CDs of the oldies, including jazz music, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, and more, and I listen to them almost every evening, very juvenating and relaxing I would say.

Can't stand modern jazz, it's just noise. But trad jazz is wonderful. I went to a concert at university, with a Columbian friend - it was a tribute to Louis Armstrong. I was in SUCH a foul mood before it that I was going to go home instead... but he dragged me along and about 15 minutes into it, I was grinning like an idiot. Absolutely brilliant music to make you smile.

Jazz isn't my cup of tea. I found that most jazz musicians are individuals that cannot gel together as a band. Hence the excruciating noise that is produced. But just once in a while, you come across a real band that is actually pleasant to listen to. Then, jazz can be great!
