Man Made or Prophecy

The world is in a state of diarrhea, all over there are natural disasters occurring, from earthquakes to tornadoes, to flooding, and disappearing land masses. Some people say that we have been unkind to the earth our home and others say that no mater what we do these times were predicted. What should we believe prediction or prophecy.
On December 21, 2012 what should I do?
Lie in my bed bed and beg God to not end the world? Not sure I could change his mind.
Go about business as usual? I guess that is what I will be doing.
Pollution seem a more likely answer.

Im not that end of the world prophecy believer. I just believe that in every action that we do there is a consequence that corresponds to it. Its the nature's grudge against us. We abuse and neglect our environment. That's the reason behind this flood etc. Plus the climate change is happening.
