A newborn's nails seem to grow fast and if left untrimmed, he may scratch his adorable little face and we don't want that to happen. Being a new mom, I worry about how to cut my baby's nails. I appreciate if moms like me would share their experiences to help me figure out the easiest way to trim the nails of my 2 month old baby.

Are you sure you need to do that to your baby? I mean, how long could it grow by now? We usually just put on baby's glove than to risk tearing the skin of a fragile little thing. I don't think you should cut your baby's nail for now.

Thanks for the advice laydee. Yes, angelo is using gloves but I remove it every time he will take a bath. I thought its better to trim the nails of my baby because he tends to scratch his face during bath time. What should i do to lessen this scenario? How soon shall I trim the angelo's nails?

I used baby scissors to cut my son's fingernails when he was young, and I cut them when he was sleeping, so I can trim his nails safely. My son didn't like to wear glove, so I have to cut the nails often.
