Who could ever imagine that someone can invent a phone almost as thin as paper? They said the paper phone can do whatever a touch screen smart phone can do. It'll take 5-10 more years before the phone is released in the market. To give a command on the phone you have to bend the sides or flex it. Sounds like a great invention but it probably work for me. I always my phone now which is very bulky. How much more if it is as tiny and slim as a credit card. visit this link if you want to see the prototype http://www.pcworld.com/article/227556/paper_phone_prototype_uses_eink_and_flexible_display.html

I think i will not like that kind of phone because it will surely always slip my hand . I want my phone just as it is now, handy and easy to manage. I can text by just having it in one hand.

Looks like you are an avid texter. I used to spend a lot of my time texting too. If it weren't for the unlimited texting promos of Cellphone companies I would've gone broke a long time ago

Unreal on how so many inventions are created. I had not seen that until you posted the link. Does not really over surprise me because technology is always coming up with so many inventions. Would not surprise me one day to have a button size one because as we know it the cellphones have been shrinking in size each year. lol

hahaha! they will probably sell a super small phone like the button sized one you mentioned cheaply, then sell a special lens so you can read text messages for a HUGE amount.

This is very interesting to have the paper cellphone. It shall be less expensive because it is made of paper. But I wonder whether it can be durable. I hope it can be durable, otherwise it will be a waste. I love China

It is made of plastic. They just called it the 'paper phone' because it is very thin.

Yes, the thought of it is awesome, however, I'm just thinking that if it feels like paper, then we'd have the tendency of throwing it, just like what happens if we thought the paper we were holding on to is just paper only to realize it was money. hehehee.. I don't think that's far from happening with all the innovations that are happening in the world today, however, what are the implications of these things to our communication skills? Last time I checked we have all the communication means in the world today, but we still fail to talk to people or fail to express how we really feel a lot of times which causes a lot of stress and misunderstandings.

Let's hope someone invents a mind reading device. There would be no privacy but no more communication gap eh?
