what talent/skill have you always wished you had?

If I could pick just one talent/skill I wish I had, it would be to dance. I have never had rhythm and have always been made fun of because of this. Ironically, I love to dance but don't do it as much as I would like because I am not very good at it! I have gotten better through the years and am now even considering dancing lessons to help myself out!
If there was a second I could pick, it would be to cook. I know this is more easily learned than dancing, but I still don't think I have that natural cooking ability I have always wished for. There are some people who pick up cooking quickly and can taste what a food needs or add ingredients that will blend well, but that is not me at all. I follow recipes step by step and they still aren't even good!

I too wish I could dance better. As I watch DWTS I am so envious. I love to dance but wish I were better at ballroom dancing. I have taken dance lessons and they helped, but I din't have a natural talent in dancing.
I have never wanted to be a great cook. I am ok but don't really care for cooking. I don't like spending hours to have my creation gone in one hour..lol

Playing the piano and strumming the guitar are two talents that i wish i had acquired. It's never too late to learn but i do wish that i had taken the initiative earlier. it would have been so enriching to life.

I wish I know how to pick and learn things fast. If I have this talent I could learn anything and any course in a very short time. Since we need longer time to learn things but there are people who are so smart they can learn it very fast and I want to be like them~ Some said it is a gift or natural talent but I am very sure we can get what we want through practice too~ I should use my brain more than usual so it can worked better~Practice makes perfect~

I also wish I could dance because I am not good at it. But it is not my first choice. I wish I could sew and knit much more. It is very nice to make the clothes by myself but I don't have this talent. My mom is very good at sewing and knitting but I haven't learned something from it. What a pity! I can only buy clothes from the stores rather than making an unique one.

I wish I knew how to speak other languages. I speak English and Spanish but I wish I knew others as well. I am very social and would love to converse with different cultures. I have bought language software but haven't tried it out yet.

As for me, i wish that i can become a great baker like my mother. She is great at baking and had been earning very well from it when she was young. Many of her friends always order cakes and cookies from her, whenever the festival seasons are coming. Although i can bake cakes and cookies myself, but not as skillful as her. I just hope one day, i can be as skillful as her, so can even own a bakery shop.

I think we all were born with a talent or even talents but have not developed them. I have always wanted to write great stories and have as many novels as Stephen King. This guy just impresses me because he seem to just sit down at the computer and when he get up, he has a best seller finished. I would be grateful just to get one book published. I guess I need to get started.

The ability to predict the market movement so can buy sell shares in the market.The ability to forecast lottery numbers, to count poker cards in gambling and good in maths to count odds in gambling is good skills used to earn money and such.Because that soft skills like looking for friends which are useful is essential to have too to surround with useful and kind people.

I can think of two things right now, I can't decide which I'll choose over the other.
One is cooking. Just like you, I follow recipes step by step and I rely on the amount of ingredients as noted there. I can't seem to cook the way my mother does, for example. I can't add ingredients 'to taste'. =P I think maybe there is talent involved there hehehe. Something I probably can't just pick up even if I take lessons...
The other one is in music. I would love to learn how to play any (all) instruments. =P I did manage to buy a guitar and learn a little bit of that in high school. But I never really took formal lessons or anything like that. Would love to really learn, as well as other intruments. =)

Gosh, I have lots in mind. First will be talent/skill on cooking, I never like to cook I prefer to eat than to cook. But every time my sister watch a cooking show on TV, I just can't help but wish I could cook like that.
Second would be singing, I know a little dancing but singing... no... I wish I could sing on tune. I love to sing but I don't think singing loves me hehehe!
Third, driving, I want to drive a sports car, like ferrari. And I can go wherever I would like to go and go home wa=hat every time I feel like going home.
Lastly would be swimming. I love the beach, but I never swim. I want to go scuba diving but I can't.
This are the few of talents/skills that I want to learn.

I really wish I was better with hands on crafts like sewing and jewelery. I envy my friend who makes a great living with sewing and craft work. I love the arts and a self made living. I've tried sewing and jewelery making and I just can't do it. My hands are way to shaky and I just don't have the knack. It's just not in the cards for me I guess.

Well sort of like you, but a bit more specific. I love to dance, but I really wish that I would have stuck with ballet when I was little. I just wish I had that strength and that grace. I'm hoping that I can get into a beginning ballet class for adults. I don't think it's too late to learn some of it. I'll never be a professional dancer, but I wish I could dance so that everybody watching could go, "Wow!"
I'd also like to be able to cook. I'm a recipe hugger myself.
Can't think of anything other than that.

Just like you i wish i have the skill of dancing.
Although when i was in my younger years i could really dance well, but those are the modern ones only. They are the dances we do on discos.
What i want are the more intricate way of dancing. To be exact, i want to be a skillful dancer of ballroom dancing. If and ever i will have the time in the future, i would really want to study them.
However, i noticed that it's rare now that there are occasions where ballroom dancing is done. It seems that it's now mostly videoke that is the center of most parties.
Does it mean i don't have to learn ballroom dancing anymore?

I'd like to have a golden voice. I always wanted to sing but I am kinda out of tune most of the time. I want to be a member of our church choir to lead singing praises unto the LOrd!
