I woke up tired this morning. We used to go to bed around 5AM and get up at noon, but hubby is retired and was bored staying home, so he found a job, 3 days a week at a place nearby but the job is from 9am till 6pm. So we're all upside down now. He seems to be doing alright with waking up early but Im having such a bad time. It was ok last week but this week.........yuk!! Im in a very bad mood today, I dont find anything interesting and I just feel like I could skin someone and feel good about it you know? So what do you do when you're not in a good mood? How can I cheer myself up??

Yeah I get in bad moods every now and again. Although generally I am an upbeat smiley type person I do have my moments. I do enjoy myLot a lot because I like to interact with many and read a great deal about happy moments with others and or apply some humble advise where perhaps it can help someone. Though at times it can be a bit tiring too, and I do have a very nice park across the street. So weather permitting I do like to take a walk around the park and just breathe in and out in a different atmosphere. Maybe learn a new hobby offline that you might enjoy or try something new online. I do hope you day will go better.

Thanks for sharing some ideas. Learning a new hobby might be exactly what I need. If not, a good slap on the back of the head might set me straight lol.

There are 2 websites that I go to when I am feeling sad, mad, or bored. www.ebaumsworld.com has very funny jokes and pictures. Another good one is www.damnyouautocorrect.com This is a website that shows funny text messages people accidently send. It never fails to put me in a good mood. I hope your body adjusts to the change quickly. If not, try these websites!!

How is your stress these past few days? Better I hope! Have you tried meditation? I have found that deep breathing exercises really calm me down. I used to be a worrywart and even severed from anxiety but now I have learned ways to cope with my stress better.

Must be the weather because its been raining here non stop. We havent seen the sun for so long. Right now is the first time in a week that the sun is out. Im sure i'll get better soon. They say it makes you feel good again........NOT! I havent been in such a bad mood in a long time and did NOT enjoy it at all. Ive stopped taking them and Im back to my stressed out self now haha. Thanks for sharing the sites......those are very funny!!

i am alone a lot due to health issues (hubby works full time, i work 3 mornings per week and of course our kids are at school) so i have learned how to entertain myself. i do things that i like to do (like making things and reading) to make myself happy. what about heading out to the library?

For me I would prayed to Jehovah God that he can cure me about the feeling you got in your morning and proceed to the time of success in your life.

Seriously, you need sleep. Try to catch up on sleep so you will feel better. Lack or absence of sleep does affect a person's mood. Get some rest and when you had your beauty rest, start doing your work with a smile.

You're right. I need to get some sleep bad. Hubby used to work evening and we had a nite time way of life. Now he's working days and I could never get up in the morning. Im not a morning person at all. At night, I cant get to bed because I cant sleep. I sleep well when its daytime. I'll get used to it. Thanks!!

I would listen to music, watching a movie or read a book. Or just play boring games on the computer until my mood calm down or I get bored myself. Usually one of these things works for me. I understand it is hard to break from a habit when you do not have any incentive to do it. Different from your husband, because he has to work that he can adjust to waking up in the morning easily. Maybe you need to get something done in the morning time, too.

Last week I quit my Job and was very furious with myself for doing so , as it was a spur of a moment decision and later I thought at least money was good , but I couldn't have handled the tension that went along with it. I was furious and then I took a walk and realized all my anger evaporated and it felt good. I forgot all my tensions and stress and realized its not so bad that I quit. I was tired of the job anyways and was finding ti too stressful whatever happened happened for the best. Try a brisk walk in some park, it will really cheer you up.

Id like to say sorry for quitting your job, but if it was making you miserable, well its just as well you did. GOOD FOR YOU!! I bet you'll find a better job soon. I do go for walks with my dog. It does help but my cinnamon buns helped even more haha!! First time I was baking those and they turned out perfect. Now I walk to burn off the calories HA!! Thank you!!

It seems like you are alone during the day? I would be having the time of my life!! What is it exactly that is causing this? I am in a very bad mood all the time. I am actually falling into depression and I have bipolar so I hope it doesnt get to bad.. I am raising 4 kids 6-15. In a semi-small house. Hubby and I use the lowest level (its a tri level) as our room. The kids are all upstairs and are very very loud. My oldest 2 wont help out with chores and they are very very messy. They yell at me when I try to correct anything and I do daycare with toddlers..As I am typing my daughter is just yelling (being silly) but yelling just the same. My oldest is pounding in the floor and screaming at his game. I am listening to all of it while trying to just relax and watch my favorite shows, that only come on Wed. And I have been doing MAJOR cleaning ALL day. My hubby only has a part time job, my daycare parents are not paying right. So we are broke.....Thats why I am in a bad mood. Now when I get a grip on myself I paint, walk, write and take pictures. Exploring my creative side usually gets me pretty happy. Just kinda lost right now. So cheer up hun, it could always be worse.

You just made my day Ladygator!!! I had NO reason at all to be in such a bad mood. Lucky me it lasted only 2 days and now Im back to my normal self. I sure hope you could get your hubby to help around the house with the cleaning since he has a part time job only. As for day care parents not paying.....maybe you need to put your foot down and tell them you cant babysit their kids anymore until they pay you. They are abusing of your good nature I think. I wish you all the best and better days so you can go back to your creative side. Thanks for sharing !!
