Surprise... surprise...

I just watched the The Roommate and Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf) is totally believable. The Roommate is pretty little liars, hellcats and gossip girl combined. I did not notice that it is Meester who's playing the protagonist until her face was closed up because of her hair and the way she portrayed the character. So psych both figuratively and literally. I did not expect her to be such a versatile actress... How about you did you? Did you have an actress or actor that surprised you by their versatility?

I haven't seen it, but I like when actors and actresses can take on all different kinds of roles like that, it shows that they're not always typecasteed.

Me too...It takes out the labelling as a character and see the person as an actress/actor.

ya.. i seen THE ROOMMATE..Meester i sgorgeous..i like her..her acting is good too..very convincing...nice.. both actress in that movie is good actress.. i gave it a 6/10 rating.. because this kinda movie been around for ages..possesive roomate etc.. and nothing new in the story..or any new twist.all predictable. but its a good movie to watch.to kill time..and boredom.

I think Anne Hathaway...she can carry any roles that is lain in her doorsteps...I've heard that she will be the next catwoman...imagine that?

next catwoman?? hope not like that Haile berry horrible one.. the michele pfeifer one in Batman Return is not bad.. got style..and tricky..
