If you Google a lot, I'm sure you've noticed this. Once in a while Google features milestones, birthdays or death anniversaries by making the Google word in the search, look different - making it an animation, drawing in there pictures and stuff. Recent specials include Martha Graham and Roger Hargreaves. My favorites were when they featured the anniversary of xray discovery and when the Google page turned into a submarine view window to honor Jules Verne. I just love it when Google does these things because it's so creative and it deviates from the simple Google that we regularly see. Wonder what comes next. How about you? Do you like it when Google does this?

I know what you mean , I love all those cutesy things as well .. and it's cool that it's in conjunction with something like the discovery you've mentioned. Here's a humor thought which made me think... when the Panda update started , I was thinking why didn't they feature a Panda there. It would only make sense , LoL. But that wouldn't be so nice , since many articles have lost ranking. But that's a whole other issue altogether. I would like to see more creative drawings in future. Musical tributes would be awesome.

Oh, I love it when it does that stuff!! My fave was one not too long ago, Earth Day. It was interactive and my little girl played with it forever! It also helps to remind you of days when you have a horrible memory, like me lol
