After nearly 5 years with this site, the last 2 I have spent just doing the PTC cause the GPT didn't credit for some reason. After repeatedly asking the owner to let me cash out at about $12 (minimum for free member is $20 - you get special treatment if you upgrade and can cash out at $10)cause nothing was crediting and saying why and that I'd just delete my account and leave the site, I was repeatedly denied. I FINALLY made $20 last October and cashed out. Next month I checked it and it mysteriously went back into my balance and the withdrawal denied. I asked about it, she said she didn't know...do it again. I did and the same thing happened again. I asked her again, she blamed it on me that I was doing something to make it do that. I told her I am not doing anything, why would I? I want the money I earned! In February I did it a third time...it took, however when I went to check status the next month (she pays after 35 days of month it is requested - I expected PayPal payment in APril)and she had closed my account, leaving open only the support ticket part. I asked "what's the deal? I can't see my cash out status". She said. "as soon as you cashed out, I closed your account as I knew that is what you were going to do". Well...okay, fine...no deposit in my paypal account...where's my earnings? She said her TOS says final payments are always in form of a check. Well, I had never heard of that, but since she closed my account I couldn't verify. So, okay, I wait for a check. This was first of APril. Now, 5 weeks later...I STILL HAVE NO CHECK!!! I ask about it every week, I get the "I sent it" and then she said she sent another one and now...she says that since she has 2 checks out, she isn't going to issue another one until 6 months from now, when the other supposedly 2 she has sent have "expired". I asked for her just to PayPal it, and she repeatedly said no. Obviously I am not going to get paid. She scammed me cause I said I intended to leave the site. Moral of the story....If you intend to leave a site after you finally cash out...DON'T TELL THE SITE OWNER THAT YOU ARE WILL BE CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT! Just work your way to the minimum cash out amount, and when you reach it...cash out, and once you get your earnings in your "hand"...then just delete the account. Don't tell why or say anything, just get out while you can so you don't risk loosing your money. And before you cash out...go in and change your PayPal address to a fictious one...no need in leaving your real account in the hands of a scammer! 2 years it took me to earn that. And the only reason I stayed that long was cause I was so close and figured, it is mintues a day (she only had about a penny a day on PTC) and it isn't taking any time or effort to do it, so stick with it..you know that optimistic, "never quit" attitude?!?! Not saying this happens with ALL PTC sites, but this one is a larger one and it shouldn't have happened. Learn from my mistakes!

Hi coffee, As you say, the safest way is not to tell your moves beforehand. It is a basic rule in everything if you want to stay up front. I have this survey site that send me every two months and I'm really pissed but I just kept on as if nothing is happening. The strategy is to keep your plans under wraps all the time, and people will just be amazed at your moves.

Oh gosh how sad and bad. I have not informed a site in advance that I will be leaving but have been scammed as well. There is this one survey site that takes forever to earn and yet still pays. So while I was getting busy on other quicker earning sites I finally did reach another payout on this one survey site. So I cashed out and waited as usual not expecting to have any issues. So I went to check as it is the ample time to have gotten my payment and I checked and noticed that cash out was rejected. So I emailed support and was told that my activity lessened and they thought I would not return there after. While the TOS does not say we have to continually be active, although I was here and there as I have been for almost a year with no problems before in getting cash outs. So in my case although still a member receiving survey opportunities they get to keep my earnings. Makes no sense. Except for the fact that they have started to scam members like me and or will be leaving soon. Mine was $25 in earnings. So basically hit or miss these days.
