Are you gaga over fugues?

In classical music, a fugue is a composition in two or more voices, built on a theme that is introduced at the beginning and then in repetition at different pitches, recurring frequently in the course of the composition.
Well, Giovanni Dettori has worked Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” into a Fugue. And it actually works very well. The score is available for download at http://www.giovannidettori.com/LadyGagaFugue.pdf

Thanks for sharing this info. Went to youtube to listen to it and I loved how the theme flies from one voice to another.
I play the piano so I think I will study this. I printed a copy so I could play it at home.

VERY enjoyable considering...
I don't like Lady Gaga & I'm not that keen on classical music!!!
However, I did thoroughly ENJOY this piece!!!! 
I printed it out & went to visit my Dad so I could play it on my piano!!!

Oh Barb I will have to look at this site later.
I love classical music. I used to take General Music, Music theory and Music Literature.
I learned a lot of appreciation for music by studying it.
My English teacher used to play classical music while we were reading in our classroom. the good old days LOL
Thanks I will have to look at this.
I am not much of a ladygaga fan so maybe someone improved her music LOL

I also observed that from all Lady Gaga's songs. Even her new song Judas has repetitions. I am not sure if it's Dettori who made the track......
