Last Friday, my boyfriend and I saw this very thin kitten just outside the office where I work. Many people have already seen it before us, but nobody wanted to take it in or just to feed it with something because they think the kitten is ugly due to the scars and wounds on its face. Pitied and knew for a fact it won't survive in that harsh place, we took the kitten to my house.
We fed it, warmth it, cuddled it as if it was our own. The kitten's a he and is in love with food, so we named it Nomnom.
The kitten's story is in here: http://therealowner.com/cats/nomnom-the-rescued-kitten/
Have you ever rescued a kitten before? How does it feel? Share your story. ^_^

Nice. I have not so far rescued any kitten. I appreciate your act. Of course the kitten appears to be very weak. You are taking care of it. It will improve soon.

You're right. lucky that nomnom recovered a bit, and he's more energetic now. I've also noticed that it seemed that he dewormed himself.

I hope so. ^_^ he's returning the kindness by kneading me, butting his head on my hand, arm or legs, and he'll just sit quietly beside me. I think I already love tha kitten.
You try to rescue a kitten. To me, it feels like saving a life. I think an animal's life is as important as human life. It's a kind deed.

Hi!
Thank you very much for such kind words. I'm happy to say that's Nomnom's really active now. He plays around the house and cuddles with my other two teen cats.

I'm glad you had a heart and rescued him. I don't understand how people can just leave a kitten like that knowing he needs help. We've had our share of rescues in past years and adopted a dog and a cat that were rescues a couple years ago. The dog was found on the turnpike by the police with 2 or 3 other dogs. All the other dogs had been hit by a car and killed. He had a broken leg. Our vet took him, fixed the leg and we adopted him later after it was healed. The cat was taken by the police from a woman living in her car with 3 cats and 2 birds. I heard she had a drinking problem, but don't know that for a fact.
