Well, the only way that you can boosts possible employers and had an interview with them is by having your profile updated. You need to fill up a comprehensive CV on your odesk profile, place all the necessary educational and skills information and lastly, take part on the odesk readiness quiz and the skills quizzes/exams posted on their system. I have been working on oDesk for several years. There are ways to increase your chances of getting an interview, just like with a regular job. You need to take as many of the competency tests as you can. When you write you cover letter that is submitted with your application for a job, be sure to explain to the employer why he should hire you even though you are new.
