The most off key people always sing along with the radio.

It does seem amusing how the people who tend to have the least talent with singing, tend to be the one's that are most likely to sing along with the radio. For example, me. What can I say, its just another way to show our appreciation for the music that we listen to.

Because it's fun to sing. And it feels so carefree to sing especially if off-key. lol! Those who have a good singing voice are usually hated by others who are off-key because it seems arrogant. And usually those who are off-key would stop singing because they feel ashamed that they are off-key. The sense of fun is lost, and people are just focused on good voice than just on jamming with the music.

Indeed quality and having fun is not something that is going to go hand in hand. In fact, there are a lot of times where quality is something that hampers fun. Not always granted, as people can in fact have fun and be good at what they are doing. However, there are times where we can have a rather awful or just average voice and just enjoy rocking with our favorite tunes. There are a lot of things that can be appreciated without any actual quality being offered. That is just really a lot of things about life that are fun just because they really are. Therefore, if you sing along and butcher some of your favorite songs, you are far from alone. In fact, you are among the majority of people who sing, as there is more people who butcher, than more people who are skilled. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

GUILTY!! I love to sing, but I have what they call a "dependent singing voice", in other words, I have to key into someone else singing, or I'm just all over the musical map. Even then, my singing voice isn't very good... but hey, when I'm alone and only singing to the music in the room, who cares! :~D

I think there might be a lot of times where my singing voice does sound a little better when in tune of someone else's singing voice. Or it could be so bad that both of our voices could be canceling each other out. That is really one of the things that is great about that, as with another person, it sounds better. Then again, there are times where there can be great joy about the amusement of sounding bad. Still I tend to start singing whether or not I am alone or not. There is just something in my brain that switches on and allows me to swing to a groove of singing. That is just one of the things that are among the greatest joys in the world. Its fun in many ways, because it tends to be so absurd. Then again, that's just life in general, a lot of things amuse us because they are so far out there, that we cannot agree with. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Yep, me, too. I love to sing, but can't carry a tune at all. I don't think it matters unless you're a professional singer. Music is for everyone, even those of us who are not talented.

Its fun, that's all that matters I think. I think that there are a lot of people who do a lot of things that are fun, but they are not the best in. They do them because they bring them joy. Singing, dancing, art, playing sports, all kinds of things. The fun factor makes it the best. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Yes, we don't really care how great it sounds. Or even if it sounds remotely competent. The fact remains that it is something that is really fun. It is something that we are going to get a great deal of enjoyment out of. We might just shake our heads in amusement at the people who do this. Especially if we are these people. We are in many ways completely in on the joke. It just causes us a great chuckle, a time of fun. Life in the end is something that does not really have to be serious. If we can show our appreciation in great ways, no matter how bad it sounds, why not. Just singing along with the radio is one of those simple joys in life. A great barrel of fun, one of laughs and one of a lot of absurdity. Yet it is something that we would not give up, for anything in the world. Its time to be joyful and to sing along with the radio. Enjoy life and everything that goes along with it and just have a blast. Its to show our appreciation. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I know what you mean. I know I'll never be good enough to sing for others, but singing seems to relieve stress and I just need to cut loose sometimes: key, pitch and even lyrics be darned.

Very much indeed. I'm sure I butcher half of the lyrics to the point where people are just wanting to put a paper bag over their head, just being nearby. I'm sure a dying cat in a hail storm sounds better than I do. However, you know what, its something that brings me great enjoyment and joy. Therefore, I will continue to sing if it keeps bring me joy. That's all that there is to it. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Music is an universal language,so whether we are talented or not, nothing can stop us from singing along with the radio;I think it' a great method to release some of the stress we have to deal with daily and it gives us a much better state of mind, and of course,it is a sign of appreciation for those singers and bands that make the music we love.

Quite true. Music is something that we can all enjoy in many ways. It is something that is universally loved, universally cherished, but it does tend to play out differently with many people. As different types of music does tend to be appreciated a lot more by some people, then by other people. Still it is just one of the ways to appreciate music. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.
