what is required for one to be a chess coach?

even today chess coaches for hire are just a google search away. it tickled me to think, how does a person transform himself from a chess player to a chess coach? what steps must be taken to become a chess coach for hire? which is more effective, face to face coaching or online?

probably chess coach is one that has a greta experience on chess so they made competition and even they ollow up some courses to understand all aspects of the game to teach or choose strategies in different situations..
