Posting discussions is against the rules

I just went over the terms of use, and I found that yes/no questions is against the rules. Also, posting things that any one thinks is pointless. This being said, the people make up the rules. And I am sick of stuck up users who don't think what the site is about, but thoughtlessly delete every single posting that they don't like.

Sounds like you had a few bad experiences. But as FYI no Lotter can delete any discussions/responses/comments. We are told in the guidelines that we are to help in reporting, but each and every reporting is manually and carefully checked by our resident Admin. Admin has come on to many discussions to convey that we all would be surprised as to how many he does find on his daily sweeps on his and and how many of the reported ones he does not delete if they are within the guidelines and or reported erroneously. So maybe yours were legit violations and or not but the only one who has that authority is Admin, so I feel you are not correct here. Do keep in mind that it is not that something is not liked as myLot is about discussions and furthering them with quality. I see you reviewed the guidelines so looks like you will have better interactions here forth. Welcome aboard!

Let me make something very clear. Users do not, repeat, do not delete posts. If a post gets deleted it is because I found it to be in violation of the guidelines and I can assure you it is not done thoughtlessly. Users can report any discussion they feel is a violation, but the deleting is done by me and me alone.
