hi friends.when Gayle came into RCB people even forgot there is a guy called devilliers in the team. he blasted himself to the orange cap but has he actually faced a worth opponent. the two teams that has comparitively good bowling attacks are chennai and mumbai. can Gayle smash bollinger who has been the most economical this season or go over the top against ashwin who has the habit of getting back if he was hit for a six? can he survive the toe-crusher from malinga even the best in the business struggle to play or the crafty turbanator who relishes bowling to attacking left handers? may be we have to wait for the battle because i will bet that only these 2 teams have the bowling that can stop the gayle force. you agree?

I am surprised that with all those high class foreign coaches and support staff teams are not coming up with good strategy against Gayle. This actually strengthens my belief that IPL is not taken much seriously by players.Against Gayle one has to keep it simple, he does not like slow bowlers at the start and also he has the habit of having a look at a particular bowler for an over or so after getting after him. This has been the strategy of most of the teams against Gayle at international level. This was the reason that he was doing well once in 8-9 matches at international level, even in world cup he was not too consistent either. In IPL teams are letting him dominate and there is not enough effort to get him out.Like you mentioned it will not be easy for Gayle to score against Chennai and Mumbai, i think ,more than the quality of bowling its the right strategy that can stop Gayle.

exactly.he is not Sir Viv.he doesn't have any footwork and i have seen him having trouble with swinging deliveries. he doesn;t play the tossed-up balls that well and i am pretty sure that ashwin and malinga/bhajji will have his number. remember the century against kings XI.if chawla had flighted the ball more,he would be out very early.

Hi, You mean Cherish Gayle? Last two games RC played were undoubtedly dominated by Gayle. I do not doubt his capacity to hit the biggers but keeping the same momentum for the rest of the game is very important and I am not sure if he would massacre all. Just look, because of doubting the form of Ganguly no franchise opted to include Sourav Ganguly but you saw how he made his come back?

Gayle is in superb form. he is really hitting the ball hard. he can hit any bowler as sehwag does. the players like viru and gayle never mind the bowler and give credit to the ball, they just hit it. these players believe in their hard hitting. so gayle will surely put a good performance against mumbai and CSK.

Royal challengers Gayle dominated the show in two matches I watched. Yes. He was hitting sixes and fours only. At that time what struck me was this man would have helped RC win all the matches. It was not to be. They have also lost a few matches. Then I had fear this man will pierce Chennai Super king bowling. Now u have added Mumbai team also. His batting will decide the winner of this Cup. Mostly it will be Mumbai, otherwise it may be RCB or CSK the winner of this IPL
