Her name was Harshita.She used to stay in Delhi, India. She was 17 years old smart, intelligent and brilliant girl interested in Mathematics And wanted to become Engineer like her elder brother after her twelfth Standard examinations! She was a National level Table Tennis player and believed in modern science and the Humanity! Unfortunately this girl suffered a stroke and was declared bran dead by the Doctors two days back! Her parents knew that she had her wish to donate her organs in case if she dies accidentally, as she raised a point in the family while watching a Satsang (A religious discourse) where it was said that Organ donation is not good! Keeping this point in mind, the parents have taken the decision to donate her organs and her eyes, kidneys , Liver and Heart were donated to the needy! With this donation of her, in spite of having her death she has become immortal as she has given life to five persons and her heart is preserved in AIIMS which can be stored in perfect condition for another 4 years! The heart valves will e donated to the suitable patient after performing all the matching formalities! Having gone through the news my heart got squeezed for a while for the girl and her parents but at the same time the positive attitude shown by the parents in service of mankind made my hand to raise to my head involuntarily to Salute the Great Soul who departed this world To become Immortal and to her proud Family!
